If you are tired of the “usual” plant xenon of your R8, do not despair: Audi has the solution for you. Henceforth it will be possible to order a new plant groups optical front completely composed of LED lamps instead of traditional plant discharge of gas. The R8 will be the first car serial mount lights totally based on this technology. Everything is composed of 54 light diodes to replace and compose the dazzling lights, low beam and indicators of direction.

New also lights position now done with the use of 24 diodes for optical group. The advantages of this type of lighting are a less energy, greater durability and a light of brilliance almost equal to that which allows solar energy to achieve a greater contrast of images received from the retina and helps solicit minormente the eye.
